Notice the broad beans in the last post. I was told that I had planted at the wrong time, wrong place blah, blah. Now I have huge bush-things of broad beans - so there! Trouble is I don't think I like broad beans (oops kept typing Brad beans - hi bradley - no offense intended) and I don't really know how to cook them - there's something wrong there isn't there?

I LOVE broad beans ( and Brad beans too, actually). They are best when you grow them yourself cause you can pick them young & delicious. Steaming is good. They're wonderful with pasta too. Yum.
I think I've missed the young and tender stage. ya reckon they might still be tasty steamed or in pasta?
